Summer at Riviera

If you are looking for a little more speed and excitement as part of your summer stay, you can join a RIB tour on the Oslofjord.

The tour is organised by our partner Eventrib and departs from the dock just outside the hotel. From here, the journey takes you through islands, coastal landscapes and open stretches of fjord.

An experience equally suited to a group of friends, good colleagues or the whole family.

The guest harbour is located right next to the hotel and the beach. Here, you can dock your boat and combine life on the water with a stay at Riviera.

Right outside the hotel, you will find the city beach — an urban stretch of sand with views across the fjord and towards Jeløya.

Here, you can take a morning swim, play volleyball or simply find a quiet spot in the sun. There is also a lovely playground nearby for our younger guests.

When the sun is high, Riviera Beach Club opens by the waterfront.

Here, simple summer dishes, coffee, ice cream and something refreshing in your glass are served throughout the day. At the Tiki Bar, you can take a break in the shade between swims, sunbathing and good conversations.

Summer and seafood go hand in hand.

Our seafood platter brings together the best flavours of the sea on one plate. Here, you will find lobster, langoustines, mussels, crab, hand-peeled prawns and scallops, all served with classic accompaniments.

On the hotel’s top floor, you will find Pool & Wellness — a place to cool down, take in the view and unwind.

Here, you can sink into the Riviera pool, relax in the hot tub or enjoy the warmth of the saunas while looking out across the fjord.

Pool & Wellness is open Sunday to Thursday from 7 AM to 9 PM, and Friday to Saturday from 7 AM to 10 PM.

By the water’s edge, you will find our double sun loungers — the perfect spot for a relaxing moment in the sun.

Here, you can lean back, order something nice to drink and let the summer day unfold at its own pace.

On warm summer days, something cold tastes especially good.

Here, you will find authentic Italian gelato from Paradis Gelato in Oslo, made using traditional recipes and carefully selected ingredients. The flavours change throughout the summer, and we dare say it is some of the best gelato you will ever find outside Italy.

This summer, we are once again firing up the pizza oven to serve authentic Neapolitan pizzas.

Enjoy them freshly baked on the terrace in the sun, take them down to the beach or bring them up to your room if you feel like keeping things extra easy.
